TeachShare is an online resource providing teachers (particularly ‘Eco’teachers) and environmental educators with a range of information covering both Eco and Sustainable schools topics. TeachShare also includes documents demonstrating links to most curriculum subjects and the information is generally downloadable / printable for total ease of use.
The site was originally developed as a resource that linked directly to educational products supplied by Resike, containing information like product weights, dimensions, country of origin and instructions that teachers needed to make best use of their newly acquired materials.
We realised as the site was developed, teachers had a need for much more environmentally specific information, particularly to support Eco & Sustainable school projects and after school clubs.
Development of the site started in late 2007 and has now become a leading, single source site for current and relevant environmental information for teachers."My school and I are excited about how we can develop our greener awareness using your new and valuable website.
